Visit coves and harbours, over 50 beaches, explore castles and wander through beautiful gardens. Drive through vibrant towns and villages, and the smallest city in Britain, St Davids.

This tour is timed to lead straight into the Welsh Borders & Brecons Tour for those who wish to extend their time in southern Wales

Day 1: 24 June 2022 47 miles

Arrive at your leisure anytime after 3pm.  It’s a lovely journey to Pembrokeshire and maybe enjoy a stroll along the beach on arrival at the coastal spa hotel.

There will be a Welcome Drinks Reception followed by a fabulous dinner this evening.

Day 2: 25 June 2022 132 miles

Discover the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline today and punctuate the day with a number of fascinating visits. Start with the gorgeous and colourful fishing village of Tenby, then head on to Manorbier and the wonderful castle. Explore Pembroke town and discover the illustrious history of Pembroke Dock. Hug the coastline around to the tiny city of St David’s. Press on to the windswept promontory of Strumble Head and you can enjoy the luxury of tremendous clifftop vistas without even leaving the car. Return to the hotel via Carew Castle. Dinner is at leisure this evening and there are a few restaurants in the town within walking distance.

Day 3: 26 June 2022 120 miles

Today’s tour leads you up to the beautiful Preseli Hills, with their far-reaching views and open moorland. Drive to Moylegrove, a picturesque tumble of traditional whitewashed cottages and stone chapels. Along the coast are side turnings leading to the remote and rocky porpoises’ playground of Ceibwr Bay. The road emerges at the riverside village of St Dogmaels, which has a ruined abbey and working water mill.

Visit the ancient town of Cardigan then head south to Ffynone Waterfall. Continue south to the gorgeous little market town of Narberth. Return to the hotel via Laugharne Castle and Pendine Sands. There will be a final dinner this evening.

Day 4: 27 June 2022 105 miles

After a hearty breakfast depart for home on a scenic drive westwards across the Brecon Beacons. For those continuing on to the Welsh Borders and Brecons Tour the drive will take you to the hotel.

Accommodation

This award-winning Spa Hotel is perched above Saundersfoot Harbour in Pembrokeshire National Park. The privately-owned hotel has an outdoor infinity pool, luxurious spa and views over Saundersfoot harbour, beach and coastline. Bedrooms are individually styled in a light, airy seaside theme. Each has a big bed, powerful shower and lavish bathroom with bathrobe.

The Cliff Restaurant is at the heart of the St Brides. Versatile menus and intense flavours are created with fine Pembrokeshire produce. Fresh, locally landed fish is on the menu every day.
