The Bentley Drivers Club event at the enthralling, atmospheric and prestigious Monaco Historique Grand Prix is arguably the pinnacle event on the Club calendar. Stay at the superb Fairmont Monte Carlo Hotel offering the finest circuit views and convenient walking distances to our very own private hospitality suite atop the Cafe de Paris to witness the most exciting historic competition racing in what is one of the most glamorous settings in the world.

The Monaco Historique Grand Prix is organised every other year by the Automobile Club of Monaco, and 2022 will be the 12th event, having been postponed from both 2020 and 2021. It takes place of the same circuit as the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix, except with Grand Prix cars dating from before WWII to 1976.

Cars are distributed into 8 races for the edition of the Grand Prix Historique :
Race A : Pre-war Grand-Prix Cars
Race B : Pre-1961 front-engined F1 Grand Prix and F2 cars
Race C : Front-engine Sports Racing cars raced from 1952 to 1955 (included)
Race D : Front-engined, drum brakes Formula Junior Cars from 1958 to 1960 (included)
Race E : 1500 F1 Grand Prix Cars from 1961 to 1965 (included)
Race F : F1 Grand Prix Cars from 1966 to 1972 (included)
Race G : F1 Grand Prix Cars from 1973 to 1976 (included)
Race H : Solo Ferrari – Sports and GT cars with front engine and drum brakes from January 1st, 1955 onward

Day 1: 13 May 2022

For tour participants who arrived from the Tour to Monaco on Thursday 12 May, there is secure parking on offer at the hotel. The Thursday night accommodation is an optional extra for anyone booking this weekend package.

The surrounding roads and driving routes to the hotel are part of the motor racing circuit and these will be closed for the weekend.

This evening will start the weekend in style with a welcome dinner under the stars including a drinks reception and wines at a special terrace location with 360-degree view of the Mediterranean and the mountains over to Italy. This is an amazing terrace, where the Club has dined before and there will be much fun and entertainment. This is an informal evening and a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones.

Day 2: 14 May 2022

This is qualifying day and we have arranged an exclusive vantage point from the rooftop of the famous Cafe de Paris based in Casino Square, Monaco. The Salon Bellevue room at the Cafe de Paris is exclusive to the Bentley Drivers Club. It is accessed by a lift from the ground floor and has all the usual exclusive cloakroom facilities. The viewing is from two terraces, with comfortable seating and a private grandstand. Refreshments are available throughout the day, and breakfast is included as well as a delicious buffet lunch with wines.

We shall be watching the qualifying from the best viewing position to see the skill and courage of the drivers as they charge their historic Formula 1 cars through Casino Square. There are a number of different grids, starting with the 1924 Grand Prix cars, through to the 1970s F1 cars. The beauty of these priceless cars is a feast for the eye and ear.

The evening is free for you to explore and enjoy the ambience and excitement of Monaco. There are lots of fantastic restaurants and recommendations will be provided.

Day 3: 15 May 2022

This is Historic Grand Prix Day. We shall again have the exclusive use of the Cafe de Paris with the same formula as Saturday including breakfast, a buffet lunch with wines and your own private grandstand for the day.

This evening we shall enjoy a fabulous five-course black-tie gala dinner with a Champagne reception, fine wines and top-quality entertainment to celebrate what has been a fantastic weekend in Monaco.

Day 4: 16 May 2022

Enjoy breakfast on the roof of the hotel before checking out and starting your journey home.

Accommodation

Boasting a rooftop terrace offering views of the Circuit de Monaco, Fairmont Monte Carlo is a 4-star hotel set between the Mediterranean Sea and the Casino of Monte Carlo. It has an outdoor pool, 4 restaurants and bars, a shopping mall, casino, hairdressers, fitness centre and spa.

Each guest room and suite is air-conditioned and equipped with a desk, kettle and interactive TV. All rooms feature a private marble bathroom and a private balcony. Guests can choose a room with views of the sea, of the Circuit de Monaco or of the garden.

Nobu Restaurant offers traditional Japanese cuisine blended with South American spices. The Saphir 24 Bistro Lounge and Bar is open 24/7 and serves traditional French cuisine. Located by the rooftop pool, Nikki Beach offers international cuisine and the Horizon Deck Restaurant and Champagne Bar specialises in Mediterranean cuisine, served against the backdrop of a 360-degree view of the Principality of Monaco.

Guests are invited to use the unique onsite wellness facilities at the Carol Joy Spa Monte Carlo. There is a fully-equipped fitness centre and a rooftop pool which is heated all year round, allowing guests to admire the Riviera view throughout their work-out.
