Visit Yorkshire with it ancient towns and cities, moorland and dales. This two day tour takes in the best of this stunning region of England.
Start in York and climb over the North York Moors before heading west to Richmond, the entrance to Swaledale and return via Wensleydale, famous for its cheese, to Harrogate, a beautiful spa town.

Accommodation
The tour will be based in the pretty town of Helmsley, just north of York, at the wonderful Feversham Arms Hotel. It is a small hotel with spacious, welcoming lounges and a snug bar. Each room has its own individual character and decor, with Egyptian cotton sheets and all the comforts you expect. There is a heated outdoor pool as well. Dinner is included on both evenings.
Itinerary
Day One
Arrive at the Feversham Arms Hotel, Helmsley by 7pm. Dinner will be at 8pm in the restaurant.
Day Two
Enjoy a circular tour of the Yorkshire Dales. Drive via Rievaulx Abbey to Northallerton and on to the lovely town of Richmond.
From here you enter the Yorkshire Dales National Park, driving along the road into Swaledale and Reeth. Cross the county border into Cumbria and then turn south, across the moors, to Hawes. Stop awhile at Hardraw Force, the highest waterfall in England, before continuing through Wensleydale Dinner is included. This valley, and Aysgarth in particular, is classic James Herriot country. Trying the local speciality, Wensleydale cheese, is a must.
Leave the Dales and head for Masham, famed for its Black Sheep Brewery, which you can visit. Drive back to Helmsley via Thirsk and climb the steep Sutton Bank, taking time to admire the wonderful views from the top.
Day Three
A shorter day today exploring the North York Moors and its pretty villages such as Goathland, and the folk museum at Hutton le Hole. The tour finishes back in Helmsley.

- The North Yorkshire Tour is open to classic, vintage or sports cars of any age
- Dinner on most evenings will be a smart-casual affair, and a jacket and tie is usually expected for men.
